Fifth System and Noble says No More.

As system number 5 in a row takes aim for Nelson this weekend it makes you wonder what all us cry baby's complain about during summer. The lack of waves over the warmer months is just a good excuse to travel to either coast. Metservice has issued a severe weather warning for Nelson this weekend with flooding likely so make sure to take care out there in your travels. Earlier in the week O.P and Nige Keeley scored some good Mangamanu down east whilst Keni Duke and Russ Bruce headed that way also yesterday with results yet to be decided.
(above): Whilst the crew tustled over Snappers last sunday a lone surfer walked south from Snappers and scored solo waves somewhere between there and there.

In other sad, yet understandable news, local ding repairer Geoff Noble has decided to cease ding-fixing operations winding down over the next couple of weeks to focus on his art tech and move away from harmful surfboard fixing related chemicals and environment. However there are a couple other fella's in the area who are keen to take on some of the workload and details of those guys will appear on blog soon.
Geoff is more than happy to offer advice though for those willing to tackle their own stuff. Members only of course!!! (jokes).* Personally I'd like to thank Geoff for helping all the boys (and girls) out with often generous discounts to club crew and lets face it, you can only breath in that shit for so long.

Thats about it and see you around the traps.
